This was
one of the highlights of the year.
The club had been
allocated one of the top stands in the main
arena. Very soon it became obvious that we
needed more space and, thanks to the clubs
either side of us, we were able to find it.
We had an amazing variety
of Lotus cars including five Lotus Elevens,
one Formula Junior, three Lotus Elites, five
Elans including a racing Plus Two and eleven
other Lotus cars of various types.
Other club members who
were not part of the static display were on
the track racing. During the weekend we
were featured on local TV and interviewed or
photographed many times. Such is fame!
