Since Lotus was the chosen
marquee this year the Historic
Lotus Club was given a prime position alongside the
Formula Junior paddock. At one stage we had so many cars
on our stand that we soon ran out of space and had to
find an ‘annex’ for the extras. During a pause in the
racing members were able to take their Lotuses on to the
track and do a few laps of the Grand Prix circuit.
